Dominic Fillion, founder of DFMotion, started his career as a professional photographer in 2005 while studying architectural technology. Naturally attracted to the visual and aesthetic aspects of things, he started to shape and sell ice sculptures and craft modern cabinetry. Before he completed his under graduate studies in construction engineering at the École de technologie supérieure, he took the opportunity to complete his private pilot course and thus get closer to a childhood dream: to fly.
In 2013, following a career in construction engineering at Hydro-Québec, Dominic Fillion created DFMotion. Several years to repress artistic visions were then translated into the production of the viral video Nocte Lumen Hyperlapse Quebec. The company now focuses on the realization of dynamic scenes using different technological systems developed and refined by the same company.
Today DFMotion is the specialist in its field: the artistic and technical solutions for the production of cinematic, creative and original scenes. Through training seminars with the legends of the media, many experiments and a constant eye on new technologies, the company is able to deliver a plan, tools and visions to customers from the creative media field as well as the industrial environment.
